Barney York Cattle

The Barney York has the following breeds of cattle: Black Angus, Hereford & Long Horn. The 4 bulls on the ranch are registered Black Angus.

The cattle eat a variety of grasses including side oats, blue gamma and tall fescue. They are rotated throughout the year to maintain adequate feeding and avoid overgrazing pastures. This provide the opportunity for areas to reseed and grow for the next season.
